Armsmen

The Armsmen make up the ranks of the Tower trainees who have been assessed to be mature enough to begin advanced weapons training and to undergo the final stages of moulding that will impart the suitable skills for their eventual deployment as Gaidin and Warder. From this stage on, trainees are expected to be loyal only to the Gaidin Corp and the Tower above all.

Armsman Quarters

The Armsmen are billeted in two-men rooms in barracks of the same stone construction as the Initiate quarters. Each level of the barracks holds ten rooms stocked with identical personal furniture as the Initiate barracks.

Smaller and more private, these rooms are far more cosy and many often bear little personal touches. The rooms themselves are uni-sex, with no distinction between male and female quarters. The relative increase in space is often taken up by items such as armour racks and weapons. Though the doors themselves have no locks, they may be barred from within for privacy. Armsmen take an extremely dim view of theft and keep common watch. Severe beatings have been known to be administered to thieves who are caught.

The Armsman barracks are situated as part of the North and South Clusters and share the same basic facilities as the Initiates.

Armsman Talents

Armsmen are able to have talents. So that authors may receive feedback from other members and the Admin a post should made on the OOC before writing a talent for the first time. Alternately a PM may be sent to the Admin in special circumstances.

Armsmen Specific Rules and Regulations

  • In Character, Armsmen may pretty much do what they wish, though the Gaidin they study under will have a mighty bone to pick if they should slacken off it any manner.
  • On that note Armsmen are not allowed to get pregnant; if this rule is broken then the Armsmen will be asked to terminate, leave the Tower or give up the baby at birth.
  • Armsmen are allowed to leave the White Tower alone; they are not allowed to leave Tar Valon unsupervised.
