Introduction

The White Tower is divided into seven different groups called ajahs each defined by a different set of goals and ambitions. These are the Blue, Brown, Green, Grey, Red, Yellow and White Ajahs.

Each Ajah has developed its own system of beliefs and traditions that have shaped the nature of those women who join their ranks. For example, the Red are known for their distrust of men whilst Green Sisters are known for their love of men. White Sisters are considered all logic and no heart whilst Browns are considered to find books better than conversation.

Ajahs have leaders or Ajah Heads each referred to by different names within the Ajah.

The Blue Ajah head is called The First Selector
The Brown Ajah head is called The First Councillor
The Green Ajah head is called The Captain-General
The Grey Ajah head is called The Head Clerk
The Red Ajah head is called The Highest
The Yellow Ajah head is called The First Weaver and,
The White Ajah head is called The First Reasoner

Currently all Head of Ajah positions at the World of the Wheel are NSOCs and we require Playing Characters to fill these positions. If your Aes Sedai character has been full rank for at least four months and has completed at least two campaign for her Ajah or if you are already a Sitter but wish to rise up in the ranks then please contact Helanna to apply for the position.

N.B: Head of Ajah is a purely IC position and does not come with any administrative or moderator duties. If you have a sitter character then you are still eligible to apply to become an Administrator or a Moderator

Those Sisters who represent their Ajah within the Hall of Ajahs are known as Sitters. There are currently three sitters per Ajah. Here at the World of the Wheel two Sitters out of three are Playing Characters whilst the third remains an NSOC.

2 PC sitters are required for the Blue Ajah
2 PC sitters are required for the Brown Ajah
1 PC sitter is required for the Green Ajah
2 PC sitters are required for the Grey Ajah
1 PC sitter is required for the Red Ajah
2 PC sitters are required for the Yellow Ajah
2 PC sitters are required for the White Ajah
