There's a well established 'Wheel of Time' community online and some of the sites very useful. These are those sites we feel aught to be linked:

Wheel of Time Communities

Tor Books: This is the official website of Robert Jordan's 'Wheel of Time' book series. It has excerpts from the books, details about the series as well as section called Real-life WoT Romances.
Dragonmount: This website is run by fans and is not officially affiliated with the author or his publishers; They do, however, work with Dragonmount to promote the series. Robert Jordan himself is one of their frequent visitors to the site, and they even host his blog.
WoTmania: This is another large fan based community including journals, polls, discussion forums and information about the Wheel of Time RPG. It has a bookstore that sells more than just Robert Jordan's works. It has a link to an internet based RP but that has long since ended.
Theoryland: Another fan based site dedicated to the 'Wheel of Time' series focusing on theories about the novel and news regarding the author and the book releases.
WoTism: WoTism offers quizzes, forums, character archiving, news about press releases, poetry, artwork and other Wheel of Time related pages.
Planet Wheel of Time: They provide features, forums and other information, primarily focusing on the 'Wheel of Time' computer game.
Black Tower.net: Black Tower.net archives almost all of the characters mentioned throughout the series as well as showcasing artwork and supplying chapter summaries.
TarValon.net: Tarvalon.net is a meeting ground for large community of WoT fans. People here interact in both real terms and psuedonymously. The site looks nice, too.
The Great Hall: The Great Hall is a small, longstanding 'Wheel of Time' based community. It offers the first independently hosted WoT dedicated Wiki and a White Tower based role-play.
The Portal Stone: This is a fan-based message board community and live chat room for Wheel of Time fans including chapter summaries, an ongoing character list and information about the prophecies- however, it is all still in the making.

Wheel of Time Reference Sites

Wheel of Time Encyclopaedia: Rather useful for role-players here at the World of the Wheel as it contains chapter summaries, character chronologies, geography, history, calendar, glossary, and other reference material. In my opinion the best site of its kind.
The Wheel of Time Concordance: Quite simply, an extensive collection of information about the nations of the Wheel of Time series including information about culture and dress, phrases and sayings etc as well as some extras; it is a very useful resource for role-players.
The Old Tongue Dictionary: A collection of Old Tongue words and their translations as theorised by the site author. It is very good for those aspiring Brown Ajahs or those who just want to know some Old Tongue phrases.
Seven Spokes: Includes some of the chronology, character listings and a calendar of the 'Wheel of Time' series.

Wheel of Time Artwork

Arts-Angel Digital Artwork: 'Wheel of Time' fan art composed by Sarah Ellerton. She is a very talented artist and admits to animé influences. The Wheel of Time artwork can be found in the "gallery" section under "fan art".

Wheel of Time Role-Play Sites

Portal Stones: This is a new roleplaying site that was developed after the eventual close of Silk Lantern by its former members
WoTMUD: A Wheel of Time based MUD. It's free and easy to play, offering 100s of quests.
The Grey Tower: Set before Tarmon Gai'don, the White and Black Towers have merged to form the Grey Tower somewhere near the Mountains of Mist.

Role Play Directories

The Play by Post Network: This is a forum dedicated to the listing of play by post RPG and includes all sorts of RP genres.
RPG Gateway: The RPG Gateway lists thousands of different role play communities, play by post sites, artwork sites etc. Its a good place to start if you're looking for something different.
