Alastair Triellius was born of two parents of different races, his mother of Andor and his father of Saldaea. Alastair inherited his father's green almond-shaped eyes and obsidian hair, and fair even handsome features from his mother's Andoran blood. Standing at six feet tall and sporting a build fashioned from sword training, Alastair is most similar to his brother Arluin in appearance, though Arluin has put on more muscle as of late.

Alastair grew up in the city of Maradon in Saldaea, the eldest of four children born to Ardeshir Triellius a merchant. Alastair was close to the youngest child Arluin but not their half siblings Herluin and Kaylen, this was the cause of much scorn from their father’s mistress Alicia, mother to Herluin and Kaylen. Alastair discovered that he could channel and hid this from his family for some time until he heard of the Black Tower being established as a place where male Channelers could go. He left his family in search of the Black Tower, saying that he wished to travel in order to find more business opportunities for his father; Alastair eventually made his way to Caemlyn and then onto the location of the Black Tower. In the time since he became a Soldier up to the point that he has held the rank of Asha’man for some quite some time, Alastair has gone back to his family with the business opportunities he’d promised and soon gotten married to Fenris Urick who was born of Altaran and Domani parents. Since his marriage to Fenris, Alastair has begun taking care of his niece and nephew, Herluin’s children.
